At last the hard-working, weary soldiers had finally reached their destination, the capital. They finally captured Mexico City causing the soldiers to surrender leading to the treaty. -
War Ended
Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo was agreed on and signed ending the Mexican-Amercian War. The treaty specifized clearly the borders betewwn America and Mexico.
