Nice dressing, sharp, flashy outfits were a major statement. Michael Jackson had the moves and many were inspired by him so they wanted to dress just like him. -

In the 1980's we begin to see more wide spirit looks. People are starting to wear whatever they want based on athletes and what movie stars were wearing. Looks begin to be more casual. -

This era created an image in clothing being very baggy and comfortable. People seemed to be over the tight formal clothes and sweat pants became a hit. -

New technologies are out and we are starting to see clothes we have never seen before. -

As we approach the 2000's, we see major European influences. -

High stature designer brands are starting to pop up revolving around the looks of hip hop artists and professional athletes. -

The fashion industry is booming. Big brands are taking over using new style's to catch the buyers eye. Social media used to market new designs.
