    During the 1770's, undergarments included shirts, stockings, and garters. Foundation garments were the kerchief, waistcoat, trousers, and shoes. Daily garments included a hat, frock, blanket roll, canteen, and haversack. The outer garments are leggings, mittens, a pack basket, powder horn, cartridge box, and musket.

    1780's men's fashion consists of a matching coat, waistcoat, and breeches. The waistcoat is hip length. He wears a yellow-mustard suit of matching coat, waistcoat and breeches. The waistcoat is hip length.

    1790's
    1790's fashion included Caracas full length, tight sleeves. There is a traditional riding habit which consisted of a tailored jacket like a man's coat, worn with a high-necked shirt, a waistcoat, a petticoat, and a hat. The redingote was later worn as an overcoat with the light-weight chemise dress.

    1800's
    1800's men's wear included knee-length breeches worn over stockings, tail coats cut high over the top of the breeches, collars turned up and ruffled cravats worn at the neck.

    1810's
    1810 men's clothing included fitted single-breasted tailcoats, cravats wrapped up to the chin, sideburns and "Brutus style" natural hair, tight breeches, silk stockings, accessorized with gold watches, cane, hats outside.
