This radio station is one of the most popular in our area amongst people in our age group, though radio has become less popular due to apps like Spotify, Apple Music, and Pandora. -
Wii (Gaming)
Some of our favorite Wii games include Mario Kart, Wii Sports, Play, Fit, Sports Resort, and Just Dance. -

The Hunger Games was a popular book series that we had both read and enjoyed around the time of 6th grade. -

The Divergent series is a book series that we both read around the time when we were in 7th grade. During this time period, dystopian/futuristic novels were very popular amongst our age group. -

This is one of our favorite magazines that we subscribe to. It gives tips on the topics of holistic health and wellness, fitness, travel, and more. It's culturally significant because it represents the shift in society away from fad/crash diets and toward balance and true health and happiness. -
Trumbo (Film)
Trumbo is our favorite movie we have watched in media so far, so we thought we would include it in this presentation. It is culturally significant because it exposes the political corruptness of the McCarthy Era and what was really going on, and how negatively it impacted the lives of those accused of being Communist.
