    Christmas eve, 1906, Reginald Fessenden used a special alternator and transmitter to make the first ever radio signal. This was the beginning of something great. Radio helped in every war since then, helps people transmit information and helps send signals to people who may be pretty far from you.

    Silent films took over the entertainment industry in the 1920's. It helped tremendously for the millions of immigrants entering America and Canada and helped with the language barrier. They were extremely popular, and super cheap so they were everyones go to for entertainment.

    On June 17, 1935, 4 researchers in the United Kingdom (Watson, Watt, Wilkins, and Bowen) demonstrated radar frequencies to the public. this sparked one of the most important inventions of the next century. Radar is basically radio but more advanced and more useful.
