Rodney King was beaten badly by police officers in L.A when resisting arrest in 1991. Unknown to the police, there was somebody filming it in the bushes. The police officers were handed a verdict of not guilty by the first review board. This caused racial riots to break out in south central L.A. and led to several days of rioting. -
