    Birth
I was born at 12:46AM EST in Mount Cisco Medical Hospital on December 22, 1999. Around midnight, my mom had told my dads felt me and that we had to rush to the hospital. My Mom and Dad had to rush to the hospital in the snow in the wee hours of the morning, with my Dad giving my Mom a heart attack from the speed he drove. She was not happy. I was born safely, and after the three day period I came home Christmass Night, and my parents to this day say that I saw Santa.

  • First Travel Soccer Game

    First Travel Soccer Game
My first travel soccer game was eventful. The night before I had cried about going, because I did not want to go and was extremely scared. What if I messed up? I was a year younger than everyone else on the team, I played up an age because I wanted to challenge myself. The morning of I ate a breakfast of eggs and bacon, and showed up to the game in my new, red Adidas Predator cleats. I scored three goals that game, and got a Capri-Sun after for my efforts.
  • Hawaii, Part 1

    Hawaii, Part 1
My first time flying was on an eleven hour flight to Hawaii, and it was an incredible adventure. It started slow, with me forgetting my Spanish homework on the first plane ride, but after that the trip took off. In the mornings, we went to the buffet where the cook had one hand and a hook! He made the best omelets. We went kaiaking down a sugar farm, snorkeled and jet skied, and even saw Billy Joel perform live in concert on the beach. It was once in a life time.
  • Getting our First Pet

    Getting our First Pet
When my Dad told us that our Mom was bringing home a puppy, I could not contain myself. I had always wanted a puppy, and I was finally getting one. When I first laid eyes on my dog, who at the time was not named, I had never been happier. I looked at her head, and noticed her brown and white pattern formed an arrow on her head, like the one Aang has on his head. I said, "Come here Arrow!" And she sprinted towards me and jumped into my arms.
  • Aruba

    Aruba
Going to Aruba with my cousin and family was one of the best trips of my life. Easily the best part of the trip was the all-inclusive resort. The endless pizza and messing around with the soda gun was something I will never forget. Also, I swam with a wild sea turtle, and it shocked me to see how big they are when he swam over me. The sun was blocked out, but I knew he was harmless. It was a terrifyingly amazing moment, that I will never forget.
  • Making the Varsity Team

    Making the Varsity Team
Making the varsity soccer team was one of the biggest goals I've ever completed. I went to the winter training sessions indoor, and I was the most skilled player on the team. The three days of tryouts were the longest days of my life. Hours of running and playing and more running. On Wednesday after practice, I was the third to last kid to be called to talk to the coach one on one. When he gave me the choice of JV or Varsity, it was the easiest decision of my life.
  • First High School Football Game

    First High School Football Game
It was my first time being in, "The Bear's Den." After taking my seat at the top of the bleachers since I was a freshman, the atmosphere was insane. People were screaming on every play, myself included, and chanting along with the seniors was an experience that I will never forget. Now that my brother is a freshman, I hope he experiences the same things I did, and the insanity and fun of high school football games.
  • Making Sectionals

    Making Sectionals
Freshman year, the varsity soccer team finished the season with two wins, and fourteen losses. It being my second year on the team, I had a bigger role and we had won our first three games. Then, our season took a hit, and we dropped eight straight games. The thought of not making sectionals filled our heads. However, against Carmel in the pouring rain, we were able to win, and made sectionals. It was a massive accomplishment.
  • Costa Rica

    Costa Rica
Our family trip to Costa Rica opened me up to the world. On the way back from Zip-lining and eating fresh pineapple, we took the roads by the ocean back to our resort. It opened my eyes to the poverty that some people live in, seeing houses fenced in with barb wire and chickens running in the yard. The hurricanes in Florida and Texas remind me of this, and how fortunate we our to have what we have and how bad it can be for others.
  • Hawaii, Part 2

    Hawaii, Part 2
When my dad called for a family meeting at the dinner table, my brothers and I knew something was up. When we got the news that we were going to Hawaii for a second time, we were ecstatic. Nobody wanted to leave Arrow, my dog, but we got over that very quickly. The highlight of the trip was the four hour car ride up Mona Kea, the highest point in Hawaii. We watched the sunset from 9,476ft elevation. It was unreal the colors of the sunset.
