    On May the 13th in 2012, Manchester City were champions of England again. They won the league in dramatic fashion after scoring 2 injury time goals to win 3-2 against QPR and win the premier league title. Sergio Aguero will go down in City folklore for his goal after 93 minutes and 20 seconds.

    City beat Gillingham on penalties in the 1999 play off final. This doesn't tell the story, they were 2-0 down in stoppage time, but 2 injury time goals salvaged a draw and subsequently extra time and penalties.     The blues secured promotion back to the premier league to achieve back to back promotions. They beat Blackburn 4-1 at Ewood Park

    City leave Maine Road after 80 years in 2003. They left after a 1-0 defeat to Southampton. They move to a new 48,000 (now 55,000) capacity stadium in Ashton.

    The Abu Dhabi United Group become the new owners of Manchester City. They instantly break the clubs transfer record, signing Robinho, the Brazilian from Real Madrid for £32.5 million.

    City beat Stoke 1-0 at Wembley in 2011 under Roberto Mancini to end a 35 year wait for a trophy. Yaya toure scored the goal with one of his trademark thunderbolts.

    City win their first Premier league title in dramatic fashion with a 3-2 victory over QPR. City were 2-1 down in injury time, with rivals United celebrating prematurely. Edin Dzeko clawed 1 back to level the scoreline, and Sergio Aguero scored 1 more just seconds later after 93 minutes and 20 seconds.     City won their second Premier league title just 2 years later, this time slightly more comfortably with a 2-0 victory over the hammers.
