My bestfriend moved to Arizona, also my cousin
My cousin and I have always had a lot in common. We love to play video games and various sports. Sure we have our ups and downs but we always stay friends in the end. -
Went to disneyland, my first roadtrip.
I was 4 years old at the time and the memory is quite fuzzy, however I do remember some interesting things, to say the least. I remember getting a very expensive churro, and riding the tower of terror. These two memories are quite different, but its all i can remember. -
My little brother was born
The day my little brother was born I was in kindergarten and my Grandmother came to pick me up early and she said, "come quick you have a new brother". When we arrived at the hospital at remember seeing him in my mom's arms and she said, "wanna hold him"? As I was holding him he opened his eyes and stared at mine. This moment was special to me because I found a new respect for new life and new beginnings. -
Signed up for my first sport, baseball
I've always played "backyard" sports up until this time. Baseball has shown how to persevere through tough times and how to be a better man. I played baseball until I was a freshman in high school and I met some of my better friends playing this wonderful game. -
Got my first videogame console
My cousin owned a console at his house and we played it all the time, but the Christmas when I turned 8 I got my first console and I played that thing for hours and hours on end. Video games have helped me with my problem solving skills and it even helped me make even more friends. -
Moved 3 times in 1 and a half years
My parents used to flip houses with each other and one house that they flipped put them in a lot of debt. We continued to downgrade houses and moved to different schools until we finally found the house that I am at now. This time in my life only strengthened my perseverance in the fact that I had to work through tough times of meeting new people from different schools and coming to the realization that we were poor. -
Got my first dog
A few years after we moved into my house that I am in we got a dog, a chihuahua, and called her Sox. This dog was a rescue dog and was abused as a puppy. When we took her in she wouldn't even come close to us, but now she is the liveliest thing in the world and I love her. This taught me that all living things are precious and it made me very sad and angry that a person could do such a horrible thing to an animal. -
Diagnosed with chronic migraine
On March 27 2013 I was diagnosed with chronic migraine. This obstacle dictates my life. It tells me when I can go to school, when I can hang out with friends, or when I can do family trips. This has been a big burden in my life and I plan on not letting it be the author of my biography. -
Changed to online school
My migraines eventually got so bad I wasn't able to attend public school any longer and I went to try the online school alternative. I really do enjoy it here, although I do miss being at school with all my friends this school option has really helped me get through these tough times. -
Keep pushing through all of my problems
My friends and family have all helped me through my problems and I hope to show them that I will not just give up. I want to get a higher education and I want to do something with my life. All of these things that are happening to me are just obstacles that I plan to conquer.
