Town Crier
"Hear ye, Hear ye" I'm the town crier who speaks for the King. I was on earth century's ago but there are more then one of my kind,there actually might be hundreds of my kind. I'm from another country but lets talk about the Massachustts town crier. The Massachustts town crier got peoples attention by shouting "Oyez, Oyez, Oyez" before making an announcement. Magazines
Magazines were invented in 1663 by Edward Cave. People have been reading them since 1731. The first Australian magazine was invented on the 14th of July, 1994. It was called 'The Australian'. They are used for publicity. The first magazines were also biography's and stories. The word magazine comes from an Arabic word which means warehouse. Did you think that magazines were this old? -
Newspapers
Newspapers have become part of our world since September the 25th, 1694. The first ever newspaper published in Australia was in the year 1803, on the 10th of November. On August the 1st, the first ever advertisement was made, 1864. In New York, 1873, the first illustration was made, August the 1st. Again, also August the 1st, trains have started delivering the papers. That was in the year 1885. It's amazing how newspapers have been around way back in the year 1694, and are still around today! -
Billboards
Billboards are made for advertisement. They were made by bunkan-San and his friends. The first billboard made was used in 1700 for a poster of a slave. Then it was used for a long 100 years until a person in 1871 made a billboard for an art poster. It has been going on for advertisement ever since. It has changed advertisement. -
Cameras
Cameras were invented in the 1840's. To be exact,the 8th of may 1840. The inventer was a man, and he was Alexander Wolcott Cameras, going back many,many years ago where black and white. Obviously you need to click a button to take the picture. With a camera you can also record special events. For example a video recorder. If we didn't have cameras what would hold our special memories. -
Film
The first film ever made was back in 1888 on the 14 of October. The inventor of films is called Louis Le Prince. Louis Le Prince made his first film called 'Roundhay Garden'. 'Roundhay Garden' was an action film and one of the best films yet. Films are sometimes comedy, action packed and drama but films are for everyone to share with, especially family. -

Radio was invented in 1895. A 21 year old person called gaugliemo Marcani invented the first radio in 1895. -
TV News
The first ever news broadcast on tv was 86 years ago in 1930. It was hosted by Lowell Thomas. The first scheduled news was in the next decade 1940. It was first only on TV in New York City, but we could hear it on the radio. -
Record players
Back in 1948, the record player was invented by Ewing Dunbar Nunn. Before the record players were invented, the disc's were a success in the year 1888. The disc's were invented 60 years before the record player was made. In the year 1948, people used a lot of vinyl records. Now a days, we dont use them as often because of the radios we have now. -
Video games
The first video game was invented in the late 1950s by William Higinbotthan.The first was called Pong a tennis game which was exercising people. It was launched in October 1958. One day I wish I could play this video game. -

Do you know Martin Cooper? Well he was the first ever inventor of the mobile phone.The mobile phone was invented on the 3 of April 1973 and that phone was called Motrola. Today there are touch screen mobile phones that you can take photos on and they didn't have cameras back when the first mobile phone was invented. Martian Cooper was he a great inventor or what?! -

C.Ds were invented in the late 20th century (1982) by James Russel.C.Ds are 120mm in diameter and weigh 15 grams. You can store up to 80 mins on a C.D. Blank C.Ds were for burning finished recordings. C.Ds are not all played on the same thing. They can be played on recordings and they can can also be played on laptops and other electronic devises. C.Ds have come a long way since (1982) when they originated. -

Facebook is A socialising app used by many and was created on the 4 of February 2004 made by Uni students Mark Zuckerberg, Dustin Moskovitz, Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum and Chris Hughes. Facebook gets a lot of money by letting other companies advertise on Facebook. Samsung was the first to buy Facebooks logout page to advertise there new galaxy 5s phone. YouTube was invented on February 14, 2005. It was by Chad Hurley, Steve Chen and Jawed Karim. It was founded in California, United States by San Motco. Google bought YouTube for us for 1.65 billion dollars on November 13 , 2006. YouTube has become very famous and used all around the world.
Do you know how to use YouTube? You can watch videos and also post videos. If you don't like a video in YouTube you can report it to the you tube company and they will delete it. YouTube is a really good app. -

A podcast is a form of digital media that consists of videos and tapes. The podcast was made by August Trometer and Ray Slakinski in 2007. They had an idea in their mind to make an app that consists of video tapes and other radio programs. Podcasts are also known as audio blogging and they consist of an application of episodic series. They got popular in 2010 was used by many people. Did you know that you can also download music on podcasts? -

Instagram was created by mike kregar and Kevin Systro. Instagram was made on October 6 2010. Instagram is a social media website that lets you share photos and videos with friends and family. Instagram has made $1billion US dollars every five years. Instagram is a great communication website and app.
