    Martin Luther was born in Eisleben Germany on November 10th 1483. He was born and raised to a religious family that consist of one other sibling and two parents. His parents did not have quality jobs that gave them a lot of money but they gave him a good education.

    Teen years
    In his teen years he moved from school to school. He finally stayed a couple years at Eisenach. He got help from a wealthy merchants family named Schaibe. Martin was fed if he helped out with his kid.

    In 1501 he started studying Latin, Logic, and philosophy. He later switched his studies into music and geometry. He studies these topics at the university of Erfurt.

    Martin wanted to switch and become a member of a religious order called a friar. He didn't want to become a lawyer anymore and marry a wealthy woman. So he focused on his goal and later became a friar of the Augustinian at Erfurt.

    The next few years Martin brought forward the idea that the pope should not interpret scriptures. The pope did not like this at all. So, he suspended Luther in the religious community.

    During the early 1520's Luther didn't back down and believed the interpretation of scriptures.The council banished Martin's writings and made him a wanted man. So his friends hid him so he would not get in trouble from his banishment.

    In the early 1520's he returned to Eisenach and made a new church, Lutheranism. Along the way people started following Martin's work and ways. During this time Luther still wrote but he made enemies along the way including popes.

    In 1543 Martin was teaching theology at the university of Wittenberg. This was not the best time for Martin because he was admitted to arthritis, heart issues, and digestive problems. Luther took his pain out in his writings. One book is "The book of Genesis"

    In 1546 Martin visited Eisleben. There he died on February 18. He lived until he was 62 and led his life as a religious leader.
