The Beginning
Martin Luther King was born on January 15th, 1929 and lived in 501 Auburn Avenue, N.E, Atlana Georgia. King had two siblings; WIllie Christian King, and Alfred Daniel William King.

School
Considering King's mother was a teacher, he started to read when he was five. Officially, he began his education at the Yonge Street Elementary in Atlana. After this, he inrolled at David T. Howard Washington High School. Because of his high-flying grades, King joined Morehouse College at the age of fifteen! -
Baptist Minister
Martin Luther King was ordained at the Ebenezer Baptist Church, at the age of nineteen. He accepted the call from Atlana to Montgomery, in the Dexter Avenue Baptist Church. -
Graduation
In 1948, he graduated from Morehouse College with a B.A degree. After that, he applied for Crozer Theological Seminary in Chester, Pennsylvania. During his studies there, he also attended the University of Pennsylvania. He was given a Bachelor of Divinity Degree from Crozer in 1951. -
Bombing?
In King's Stride Toward's Freedom account, it say's he recieved a mystrious and threatening phone call. When King speaks at a mass meeting, he is informed that his house has been bombed. Luckily, his child and wife were not harmed. -
Montgomery Bus Integrated!
On the twenty-first of December, the Montgomery Bus Lines are resumed and King is the first to ride the integrated bus line with a few others. -
Honorary Degrees
Martin Luther KIng recieved twenty Honorary Degrees from quite high-ranking schools from 1957-1967.Some school's were Boston University, Yale, Springfield, and many others. -
A Stride Towards Freedom
King's first book, Stride Towards Freedom, is published on the seveenth of September. During a book signing at Blumstein's Department Store in Harlem, New York, King is stabbed and rushed to the hospital, where the doctors sucessfully removed a seven-inch letter opener from his chest. -
Letter from Birmingham Jail
On Good Friday, April 12th, King is arrested and put in Birmingham Jail for thirteen days. During the days, he writes his renowed letter. On May 10th, the agreement is announced. The stores, restaraunts, and schools were integrated, as well as much more fair rules. -
'I Have a Dream.'
The March on Washington which was held on August 23rd, and was one of the largest civil movements. During the March, MLK made his 'I Have a Dream,' speech. -
Nobel Peace Prize
On January 3rd, MLK is put on the front cover of the Time magazine as the 'Man of the Year.' He also attends the signing ceremony of Civil Rights Act of 1964 at the white House on July the Second.
He is awarded the Nobel Peace Prize on December tenth, making him the youngest person to win the Nobel Peace Prize at thirty-five years of age. -
Assasination!
Martin Luther King was assasinated on April the fourth, by a sniper bullet. He had been talking about helping Memphis's workers, when he fell to the floor, the bullet travelling from his right cheek to his neck. He was pronounced officicaly dead at 7:05. -
Montgomery Bus Boycott
This Bus Boycott was sparked by the arrest of Rose Park. From this, the Montgomery Improvment Association (MIA) was formed, and Martin Luther King was there president. -
