Martin Luther was born. Years later, after dropping out of law school, Luther became a catholic monk. He spent all of his time thinking about God and his ways. He came up with 95 theses, and nailed them to the door of the main catholic church in England. This made many people mad, he seperated the chuch.

Calvin was born, this made an impact because he was Luther's sucessor as the preeminent protestant theoligan. He also didn't stay with the catholic church, which was followed by luthers actions. He parted into a different religion, taking more away from the catholic church.

The puritans were in places as switzerland, france, scottland, and england. They were soon attacked because of other churches not agreeing with their actions.

The mayflower was a boat full of puritans. They were leaving because they were being attacked and left for freedom and religion. Also for their saftey. The mayflower held the group of people who had the first thanksgivng.
