Luther was put in a castle by Frederick 3 of Saxony where he translated the New testament into German. The reason he was in a safe castle was because the elector had planned a masked horseman to kidnap Luther and then kill him after. -

The rest of Luther's life
After Luther had come out of captivity people started to read the translated bible and turn away from The Roman Catholic Church. It has now been 500 years since then but the reformation and Martin Luther, they are the things/people that still live in out hearts. -

When Luther died on February 18, 1546, it was a time of grieving, his last words were, “We are beggars. This is true.” After that Martin Luther
