    Marley was born on a breeding farm in Pennsylvania. John picked him up when he was 3 weeks old. The breeder lady gave him to John and Jenny for a cheaper price.
  • The Move

    The Move
    John and Jenny decide to move to a larger house in the safer neighbourhood. Marley enjoys swimming in the backyard swimming pool while John and Jenny enjoy all the space for the kids. Jenny gets very impatient with Marley so John asks Sebastian to take care of him for a while.

    Jenny had to catch a flight to go see her sister meanwhile John was left with the puppy. John made him a bed in the garage but Marley hated being left alone. So John let him sleep in his room for a few weeks.
  • Marley goes to dog school

    Marley has been misbehaving lately, so they decide to put him in dog school. Marley's behaviour is worse than all the other dogs so the trainer lady kicks Marley out. John and Jenny don't know what to do.
  • John and Jenny try having a baby

    John and Jenny try having a baby
    They said instead of stop trying, they were going to stop all protection and birth control. Jenny got pregnant and they were both extremely happy but then they went for a doctors checkup, and found out they lost the baby. They were in shock but Marley was there for them during that emotional time.

    John and Jenny had 3 children after losing their first child. They named them Patrick, Connor, and Colleen. Jenny began getting frustrated with the dog because she was always taking care of the 3 children.
  • The Honeymoon

    John and Jenny decide to go on their honeymoon that they hadn't had since they got married. They leave Marley in the care of a young woman to dog sit him. He ends up chewing everything and she finds him impossible to control, especially with all the thunderstorms. John and Jenny come back and the dog sitter complains to them but is happy to leave Marley.
  • Marley's Death

    Marley's Death
    Marley begins to age and show signs of arthritis and deafness. An attack of gastric dilatation volvulus almost kills him, but he recovers. When a second attack occurs, it becomes clear surgery will not help him, and Marley is euthanized with John at his side. It's an emotional time as the family buries their beloved pet beneath a tree in their front yard.
