    Our focus and belief to Honor Your Purpose through Civic Engagement and Community Service allows our teaching and learning to actively engage in community based needs. We have been building and nurturing partnerships to help every student reach full potential and become contributing members of society. This engages our students in real work, core learning, structured collaboration, student driven, and action.

    Current Teaching and Learning Environment
    Every learner grapples with an academic vocabulary activity on his or her own screen. Through the use of Peardeck, the students know their response will be anonymous to the rest of the class. Learners are willing to take risks, as it is less scary to participate. This practice allows all teacher to adhere to CTSP (Engaging and Supporting all students in learning) as well as incorporate ISTE Standards.

    Google Drawings allows multiple students to open and edit drawings simultaneously in real time. Learners can insert images, shapes, arrows, scribbles, and text. Students demonstrate their understanding of key details as they use this tool.

    When parents are asked, "how do we improve our service to student learning?" They often respond, "tutoring." In order to provide effective tutoring or outside school learning, students need resources they can access. Digital access helps personalize the learning. Our after school program utilizes the assistance of Khan Academy to support our students and parents.

    As we move towards Personalized Learning we will focus on specific strengths and needs, student interests, and/or individualized goals. Pew Research Center helps us know where are students are at and we need to meet them there. As a site we will work with our PLC and DLC to incorporate the following:

    *Provide support during PLC from administration and DLC
    *Model and provide demonstration lessons incorporating best practices, tools, and resources
    *Review technology standards and expectations with grade-levels
    *Utilize results of the technology comfort assessment survey to adjust level of support
    *Target Group Implementation - coding and gaming focus
