Birth of Malcom

Jun 24, 1850

I was born in the 1850's. My mom died wile giving birth to me. My dad was 32 years old when I was born. I had 1 older sister, and sh nwas 7 when I was born. I also had a older brother, he was 16 when i was born.

Ellis Island (Event 1)

Mar 3, 1862

I arrived at ellis island at the age of 12 after a 3 week boat trip. The trip was long and so was the wait to be poked and stabbed in the eye by doctors. It will all be worth it as soon as i get to america.

Malcoms first day at school (Event 2)

May 11, 1862

Today was my first day at school. I was bullied by everyone because im scottish. They beat me up and took my lunch and books. One kid said i took his dads job.

Construction Job (Event 2)

Jul 12, 1868

When i was 14 years old my dad let me get a job at a construction site. The first day they sent me up to the very top. I was kind of scared of it at first but after a wile you get used to it.

Marrige

Jul 19, 1882

I was married in july. it was the happiest day of my life. a year later a baby boy was born. His name was malcom Jr.

Moving

Sep 28, 1885

In 1885 i moved to illonies with my family. i moved there to work on the rail road. i got a job a week after we got there and i worked for that same job all the way until i died.
