Louis XVI calls the Estates General
Louis XVI calls up the Estates General due to the rather bleak situation his country was in, assisted by Jacques Necker a finance minister. He wanted to tax the 3rd Estate, which was the bourgeoisie, workers, and the peasants, even more to get France out of bankruptcy, however this upset the 3rd Estate because most of them couldn't even afford bread. The 3rd Estate protested this and were kicked out of the meeting and this caused the Tennis Court Oath. -
Storming of The Bastille
The Parisians wanted to overthrow the monarch, however they had no weapons The Bastille was a french prison in the middle of Paris that was a symbol of the monarchs power over the city of Paris. The Bastille also had an armory full of weapons and ammo that would be useful in overthrowing the government. So the Parisians stormed the Bastille and burned it to the ground and looted its armory. This was the start of the French Revolution. The plebiscite then became common. -
Abolition of Fuedalism
France had been under an absolute monarchy and had been ruled by feudalism for centuries. However now France's people wanted more individual freedoms. This led to the abolition of feudalism. -

The King and Queen of France were executed for their treason against the french people according to their executors. Robespierre was a key member in executing the king and later the king leading the charge as he was head of the Jacobin club. Robespierre was the cause of the reign of terror, where the guillotine ruled all. The execution of the king and queen was the beginning of his terrible reign of terror. The queen had not done anything wrong per say, exist. -

After Napoleon was defeated at many battle by the coalition and his territory was significantly smaller the powers in Europe had a meeting discussing the future of Europe. The ultimate goal was to balance the power and Europe once again by making France the same as before the war and the other countries bigger. -

This battle was the end of Napoleonic wars and Napoleons final battle before he was exiled forever. This battle was won by the Prussian reinforcements as Wellingtons main battle lines were starting to crumble.
