Thomas and John Knoll sold this Photoshop to Adobe, who already had Illustrator under its belt, and was released in February of 1990. Adobe then proceeded to become a software known as a "killer app", which means that it was a software that also influenced the pricing and sales of hardware. -
Text Messaging
chriNeil Papsworth was the first to ever successfully execute a text message to a colleague, reading "merry christmas". The idea of instant messaging had existed since 1984, but this was the very first time that any sort of instant communication was successfully completed.
