The Constitution of 1791
The Constitution of 1791 is adopted into the country and changes their government. This is important because they are noticing the problems with their government and making an effort to change it with a new constitution. -
War on Austria
France officially declares war on Austria. They did that because the French citizens were afraid that the Austrians would want to re-instate King Louis XVI so they made a war against them. This is important because it started a era of wars in the revolution. -
Decapitation of Louis XVI
King Louis XVI is decapitated by the guillotine for his crimes of stealing money from the people and of corruption of the government. This is important because the french people finally got their revenge on him. -
War on Great Britain and The Dutch
The French declare war on Great Britain and on the Dutch people. -
End of the Reign of Terror
The Reign of Terror comes to an end in July of 1794 and the people start to be happy with their country again. Also Robespierre is overthrown, arrested and beheaded in the 28th of July. This is important because people will now be happier and there will be less people struggling with money and food. -

The French make a new constitution called "The Constitution of the Year III" which is updated with what the French people want and what they have fought for.
