Released from prison in Syria
Arar was released out of prison because the Syrian government could not find any proof that Arar has links to terrorism. The Syrian government also denied that they tortured Arar. -

Arar returns to Canada to finally be with his wife and 2 children, after being tourtured for a year. Arar sues the syrian and U.S. government for torturing him. -
