Gandhi gets thrown off the train

Gandhi was on the first class train and asked the get out of his seat. He refused. So he was bean up by an white stagecoach pilot for not giving his seat up for an European passenger. With this expirence he came up with an idea to refuses to do anything the English-men said to do.

Gandhi Refuses to take off his turban

In South Africa an European magistrate in Durban asked Gandhi to take off his turban. He refused and ran out of the courtroom.

Gandhi protests against Transvaal government in South Africa for Indian rights

In 1906 the Transvaal government passed a ordinance which regardes the process registration for Indians. After that Gandhi led a campaign that all the indians would disobey the English-men orders. Women, miners, and children went to prison. Some were shot.

Gandhi and General Jan Chrsitian Smusts worked a deal to the Transvaal government. The Indians would stop protesting and the government would have to take Indians marriages important and the abolition of the existing taxes for the Indians
