Recited a prayer
I had a stuffed bear that recited a prayer and I said it every night with it for a few years. -
Dora the Explorer
The show Dora the Explorer taught me a little bit of Spanish but mainly English because I was so little I could barley speak that. I learned a lot from it because on the weekends and when my sister would come home from school we would binge watch it. -
Learning my ABC’s
I remember trying to learn my ABC’s. I remember sitting there putting scribbles on a paper and telling my mom I wrote them. She called me into the living room and made me actually write them. It was torture. Ever since then I’ve know it though. -
Got my first PlayStation
Getting a PlayStation opened up a new world for me. The animations and the music always got me interested. The fact that someone had drawn out and programmed little characters that played on my TV was so cool, even if i got scared easily from certain games. I am still intrigued by the programming and work behind it. -
Junie B. Jones
When I was younger I had a Little obsession with the book series of Junie B. Jones. It was one of the first series I had read and it was definitely one of my favorites. Whenever we had a beak in class I'd always be reading them. -
My First Concert
For my 9th birthday we went to a Hannah Montana concert. I was obsessed with her and knew all of her songs so it was pretty fun. -
Sung with a church
A church here in town had a thing where you came and learned music for a week and then had a concert at the end. It was one of the first times I had gotten out and sung with, and for people I didn't know. -
Watched a play
We went to Morehead to watch a play. It was called "Mister E of Imagination: Tales of Edgar Allan Poe". It was a mix of Edger Allan Poe poems and stories. -
I Joined Band
The big reason I joined band was because my sister was in it. That was also the reason I chose to play the trumpet. After a while though I didn't like it and changed to clarinet. I've been hooked ever since. -
Sung with the Trebble Makers
In 7th grade I sung with The Trebble Makers. We went and performed for tons of different things and in different places. We learned different song genres I hadn't tried before.
