I remember watching my dad work on cars when i was little. Typically my job was to hold the flashlight and hand him tools. I had to observe him in order to learn how i could help with the mechanical things -
Kindergarten
I had issues spelling "together". My kindergarten teachers assistant broke it down and taught me to spell it "to-get-her" -
First Grade
My first grade teacher always made us race doing word searches for bubble gum. -
Junie B. Jones play
I watched to a Junie B. Jones play for a school field trip at the Lexington Children's Theater in 1st or 2d grade. -
Second Grade
I started the Junie B. Jones books and finished them by the end of the school year. -
Third Grade
In third grade the teacher assigned a debate and speaking my argument in front of the class completely freaked me out. -
Fourth Grade
My fourth grade teacher made us write a journal entry every day before recess. -
Fifth Grade
I wrote my first research paper in fifth grade over Monster Energy drinks being "satanic". -
Sixth Grade
My math teacher in Menifee County taught us about adding and subtracting negatives through a "love and hate" lesson. Negative being hate and positive being love. The class was so consumed in the lesson that all of us forgot to take notes. -
Paracord Bracelets
I observed a family friend make paracord bracelets and learned how to make them as well.
