French and Indian War
The French and Indian war started in 1754 and lasted until 1763. French wanted control over the North America terrtory and so did the French.The French were winning in the early years of the war. But the British came back and won the war.All British taxes went up because they had a huge war debt. -
Treaty of Paris 1763
The Treaty of Paris was made to stop the war between the French and the Indians.The French were affected a lot becasue they lost a huge amount of their land during to French and Indian war. -
Pontiac’s War
In 1763 a leader who referred to the name of Pontiac made several tribes to come together and made them capture Fort Detroit. The war began when Pontaic got angry due the British victories in the French and Indian War Pontiacs tribes attacked all 13 colonies. -
Proclamation of 1763
The Proclamation of 1763 was made to stop the expanding of the colonies and to not make another war.Colonist were not to go past the Appalachain Mountain. British colonist were very mad that they couldnt settle on the Ohio River Valley because it had rich fertile soil that they could farm on. -
Sugar Act
To pass more taxes to sugar and molasses, which was different than others to taxed goods to America and to raised revenue.The British wanted more money to provide security for their colony. Security was very expensive for the Indians and to not to fight with foreign powers.They reacted a lot because the money they had to give they needed to get food and other stuff to support their families. -
Stamp Act
They Stamp Act was made to put a ax on EVERYTHING that was on paper including newspaper,playing cards etc. They made this tax because the colonists needed help paying off the war debt that was made during The French and Indian War. -
Quartering Act
The Quartering Act got passed because the British need ed to save at least some money and get rid of at least the Stamp Act.Colonist got angry yet angry because they were thinking about violating rights on high demands. -

Stamp Act of Congress was to show how many people didnt somthing that was going on. William Pitt was the leader on the British and Thomas Gage was the British General. All the colonist thought that the stamp act was not right and to get rid of it. -
Townsend Acts
The Townshend after Charles Townshend . Charles wanted to makd new laws to how goods were imported into The British Colony.Items that were taxed a lot were tea,paint ,lead,and paper.All taxes were repealed and the only tax that was going on was the tax on tea. -

King Geogre the third was angry at the colonists. The colonist did not want to pay taxes on English products. In 1768 Geogre the thurd sent 4,000 British Troops. To show the British was in control.The Boston Massacre was a famous protest saying that the British wasd in control. Text focuses on hostile act of appersion. However, neglects were the highlights economic caused behind the Revolutionary Developments. I hink its a fair name calling it the Boston Massacre. -

I think its a good name calling it the Boston Massacre because it trying to make a point saying that the British is in contrl. Hugh Montgomery his leader told him not to help someone ad he did it anyway. Hugh Montgomery was anti-British but he helped Hugh Whie while he was surrouned by a mob of angry soildlers he wanted to help. Henry Pelham painted the great picture of the Boston Massacre. -

The Massachuetts Patriots started it. The British had to shut down the habor till the get tea out but everything was shut down but British Ships. -

The parliament was fed up with colonial antics. Due to the Boston Tea Party. British had to put a tax up to pay for all the tea that the British payed for. The Boston Port Act.King colosed the Harbor to eberything but British Ships.It helped caused the American Revolution. The British try to produce tea locally. -
The First Continental Congress
To settle and concerns and frustrations of the Intorerable Acts. And to make debates and discussion about the Intorerable Acts.12 of the colonies went to the first metting of the congress.55 of the colonial representives went. John Adams, Samuel Adams, Geogre Washington, and Patrick Henry were all there. -
Lexington and Concord
The Britsh wanted to capture Sam Adams and John Hancock.Colonial Militias were orginally organzied to defend settlers. The Minute men attended to. They only had a minute to get ready to fight. Whenthe leader told the minutemen the British were already coming. A minutemen is someone who only has one minute to get ready to fight. As the American Mililita started to arrive the Britsh stared to retreat to Boston. The militia killed over 125 casualies with several officers. -
Second Continental Congress
Another Continental Congress started to outline plans fr the imports that comes from the Intorable Acts that didn't repeal. To avoid full-blown war with all the thirteen colonies with the congress represented. Declaration of Causes is take up arms in wars. Congress comprised of delegates of the colonies. -
Battle of Bunker Hill
The colonist had intended to build their defense in Boston.Instead they build on Breeds Hill . William Prescott was on the American Side,and WilliamHowe was on the British. British wanted to scare the colonist so they would go up the hill instead of around it.American colonists had to bid their independence. Although the British won both side had good stratagies.
