Port Bassien

Were heading to explore Europe to explore. We have sea biscuit, salted flour (for making bread aboard ship), wheat flour, wine, salt meat (usually salted beef), olive oil, vinegar, cheese, dried chickpeas, dried lentils, dried beans, salt fish (usually anchovies and sardines). Captain Cartier is wanting to get a move on so we'll get their in 9-11 Months. The Captain is hoping we'll find some gold and silver for the King.

Pacific Ocean

May 12, 1536

Were stuck in a nasty storm right now.I've met a new friend he's the only one who will take me serious. Half of these guys on the ship are as young as me all the way to 50 years old that are old and cranky and are only doing this for the riches.The storm is getting worse by the minute I dont know for sure if the ship can take it anymore. There's been a break in the breach I have to go help to make sure we stay a float,.

Port Pulicat

Wev've arrived at Pulicat the Dutch trading port. We've ran out of supplies and all 3 of the ships have bad cracks of where the hull got split open. The Storm took 5 men in all. I didnt know any of them but I was thankfull it wasn't me.We were lucky to escape the storm.

Heading to Venice

The crew has heard of rumors that were heading to Venic after this. Right now we've restocked on all supplies and gotten goods that you could only get here.

The Voyage

Aug 10, 1539

Theres something in the water that none of us have ever seen before. Its had long tentacle like. It had eyes and a head twice as large as any man. The tentacle things, there were 8 of them and apparently its never seen a ship ethier. It attacked the ships and all the men had to stop the horrible creature.

Arrival at Port Venice

Jan 24, 1540

We've arrived at Venice we took one of the creatures tentacles and sold it. We got big riches for just that piece some of the men have scurvy. Others have infected gums I myself is just sea sick due to the 1 other diaster we had on the ship.One of the ships went down in the beast battle 12 men were on that ship. We recovered what we could from the wreck after.

Mysterious Voyage

Were in the middlle of a voyage the captain hasn't told us any information on where were going but he bought weaponry at Venice. I think he's preapring for the worst because even he may not know.Other ship mates think he's just preparing for another creature to attack. The life sucks we have to sleep on the deck and usually only get one hot meal a day.

Middle Of No Where

Nov 4, 1543

We are literally no where. There's no civilization here or 20 miles away. Wait we here strange animal nosises. There's natives of the land here their are on horses. They're attacking us everyone is running to the ships to get weapons to fight against these reckless natives.

The escape

Dec 16, 1543

We escaped the natives of the land some of the men have cuts and bad wounds. Multiple of the men have died theres only 2 ships left with a crew to about 7-8 each. The wounded we don't know what to do we have 3 on our ship. My friend Charles was shot with an arrow through the leg. The Captain said we should of left him but he was my one friend on this voyage. Right now the ocean is are worst nightmare were sailing towards another storm and we dont know what to do if something goes wrong.

Docked at Surat

Were finally done with are voyage we just need to set sail for Port Bassien then we shall be done. For me though I think I'm going to restart. I'm going to start a family build a house. I hope the pay will be good from going on this ships voyage. Charlie passed away his leg got infected and we had to imputate and it went wrong. Its not like I got anything back home waiting for me. My family is deceased and its not like I have a lover backhome.
