Work Achievements
St.Ignatius is the founder if the jesuit order and is the first superior general.He is famous for being a soilder and then to priesthood, one of his achievements was a book he wrote called "spiritaul excercizes" a book about prayers and meditations to help people stregthen thier relationship with God. In 1548 the book "Spiritual Excerizes" was approved by Pope Paul III, and in 1550 the Society Of Jesus (Jesuit Order) was approved by Pope Juluis III. -

Controversies St.Ignatius Was Involved In
St.Ignatius was involved in the Jesuit Order, the Pope Gave him the duty of stoping Martin Luther and the reformation making the church spiritual and normal again. The jesuits worked to destroy the Reformation and to stop Luther making the protestant church by relativism and looking back at history. They work on bringing back the protestants to the catholic church and show luthers teachings were corrupt. St.Ignatius and the jesiut main purpose was to plan a counter attack against Luther. -

St.Ignatuis died on the 31st of july in 1556 in italy (Rome). In his life he went throu pain and the cause of his death was stomach aliments and fever. During the battles he fought when he was a soilder against the french he was hit by a canonball , his leg was severly wounded and he went throu operations unfortunaly things went from bad to worse and the doctors told him to prepare for death. -

St.Ignatius was canonized on march 1622by Ppoe Gregory XV.
