    Five sences

    Five sences
Humans have five basic senses: touch, sight, hearing, smell and taste. The sensing organs associated with each sense send information to the brain to help us understand and perceive the world around us. People also have other senses in addition to the basic five. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1xNuU7gaAQ

    Hearing

    Hearing
This sense uses the ear to hear sounds. Sounds are waves that reach the tympanic membrane, or eardrum. This is a thin sheet of connective tissue that vibrates when sound waves strike it. The vibrations travel to the middle ear. There, the auditory ossicles, three tiny bones called hammer, anvil and stirrup, vibrate. The stapes bone, in turn, pushes a structure called the oval window in and out, sending vibrations to the organ of Corti. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HMXoHKwWmU8

    Smell

    Smell
Smell uses the nose and works hand in hand with the taste. Smell helps people to identify different smells by capturin them from the air when you breath in. Hair-like nerves, called olphatory nerves, line inside the nose and percive smells. The olphatory nerves send the information to the brain where the smell is registered and stored. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9CpmgTPhu8

    Taste

    Taste
Taste uses the tongue to taste things. The tongue gathers all the information needed to let you know whether something is tasty or not.
The tongue has some taste receptor cells. They gather in taste buds. Every bud has a pore that opens out when something come into the mouth, then filtrates and lead the information to the nerves. These nerves send the information to the parietal lobe where it is stored.

    Touch

    Touch
Touch uses skin.the skin is a very big organ and it has billons of nerves in every inch of it. These nerves make the skin more sensitive. through the nerves, the information garthered goes to the spinal cord brain. This processes and stores how skin recognizes objects by their texture and shape. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aMGgCxUyXT8

    Sight

    Sight
Sight uses the eyes. The iris is the colored part of the eyed and the pupil is black circle in the middle of it. The iris is a muscle that changes the size of the pupil to control the amount of light that entered in the eye. If it is dark, more light enters the eye, if it is bright, less light enters.
You can find the retina inside of the eye. The reflected images into the pupil shine into the retina which work like a movie screen. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=axpCN6Vj9p0

    Senses Quotes

    Senses Quotes
“Touch comes before sight, before speech. It is the first language and the last, and it always tells the truth.”
― Margaret Atwood, Der blinde Mörder “You must learn to heed your senses. Humans use but a tiny percentage of theirs. They barely look, they rarely listen, they never smell, and they think that they can only experience feelings through their skin. But they talk, oh, do they talk.”
    ― Michael Scott, The Alchemyst
