He first started out as a designer for the baptistry doors, in Florence, Italy, but when he became unsuccessful in that career, he turned to architecture. One of Brunelleschi's finest works is the dome of Florence Cathedral. His techniques and designs became very popular and fascinated many people. His style of design lived on for years and has changed the world of architecture.

    Leonardo Da Vinci Birth
    Leonardo Da Vinci, also known as the "renaissance man" was born on April 15, 1452. Later on in his life, he would be known as one of the most famous painters in history. Da Vinci used to study the human body to get a deeper idea of how the body is put together. He thought that this would help him in his art. His most famous work, the Mona Lisa, took him over 4 years to complete.

    Michelangelo was born about 20 years after Da Vinci. Michelangelo would become most famous for his Sistine Chapel ceiling painting and the David statue. He was a brilliant painter and made his work very realistic. He was also talented at many other things like architecture, sculpting, writing poems, and was an engineer, but he loved to be called a painter first.

The biblical story of David and Goliath is where David, a small shepherd boy, defeated Goliath, the giant. Michelangelo crafted this sculpture of David before his victory of defeating Goliath.

    The Mona Lisa was painted by Leonardo Da Vinci and is considered one of the most famous pieces of art. It took Da Vinci up to 4 years to finish this painting. In the year 2020, the Mona Lisa is worth around $860 million. The Mona Lisa is an oil painting on wood. It is now located in Louvre, Paris in the Louvre Museum.
