Begins painting Mona Lisa
He began working on Mona Lisa.
Probably the most famous painting ever created, The Mona Lisa by Da Vinci. The oil painting is of Madonna Lisa di Antonio Maria Gherardini. Da Vinci used many new techniques to make this painting look so real and unique. -

Da Vinci died
Leonardo died at Cloux and was buried in the palace church of Saint-Florentin.
