Start Substitute Teaching
This is where I would start substitute teaching. I want to start off as an elementary sub to get a better understanding of how the classroom environment is.I will do this by first getting my substitute certificate. -
Internships
Around this time I hope I'd be starting my internships. I would be working as a Teachers Assistant for a 1st or 2nd grade teacher. This teacher would be acting as my mentor and guiding me through my teaching journey. -
Master Degree
I would hope to be well into my career as a teacher and be able to start working on a masters degree in Child development. I will work as a teacher during the day and take online classes to gain this degree. This will help me advance my career and be instrumental in future plans . -
Daycare
At this stage in my life I would like to start establishing my own Daycare center. My dream is to find great child care professionals who specialize in early development. By bringing them together, my hope is to create an inclusive and affordable environment that promotes education and wellness. -
Tutoring services
Once the daycare has become successful I'd like to start a small local tutoring service. This would be a volunteer program where highschool students can volunteer their time to help elementary and middle school students do homework or work on any subjects they need extra help in. This would be overseen by teachers who have also volunteered their time. -
Retirement
By the end of my career as a teacher I would hope to be passing all of my knowledge and experience on to the next generation of teachers. I would hope my daycare and tutoring services would be still going and advancing.
