Amniotic fluid starts to drain out of the uterus.

The contractions become
more intense and they will happen more frequently. -
Contractions start to push the baby down.

The placenta is delivered

The cervix dilates to 10 cm.

If needed a OBGYN will cut the opening of the vagina to make the delivery easier

The mother will begin to push as the baby's head is crowning.

The baby comes out and if needed forceps will be used.

Normally the dad would be asked to cut the umbilical cord off of the baby.

After the baby is placed on the mothers chest it goes through the APGAR test
