Scottsboro trials
The Scottboro boys were accused of raping two women. Even thought there was no proof of the crime the trials went on for years. This case showed that even the court was affected by racism. -
Experiment in Macon county, Alabama
The U.S Public Health Service started an experiment in Macon county to see what untreated syphilas does to black males. this shows how little the Public Health Services cared about black men. -
Segregation in South Carolina
Schools in South Carolina were required to segregate their schools. Even all Circus tents were required to have different entrances for black and whites. This seperated the students and made them hate each other more.
