The Tennis Court Oath
The third estate decides to leave and start there own government because they did not agree with the old one. The oath was held at Versailles. This was one of the steps that helped lead to the French Revolution. -
Firing of Jacques Necker
Necker helped the 3rd estate by making the first and second estate pay taxes. The 3rd estate was very happy about all of this and how they aren't paying taxes for 3 estates now. Eventually the 3rd estate can't stand the fact they they have to pay taxes and fire Necker. -
Storming the Bastille
The Bastille was used a prison for those who made the king angry. The troops who were sent to Paris raided the Bastille did it to gain guns, gun power, and other weapons now that they had made their own government. This was showing that they didn't agree with the government and this was them taking away all the negative parts I'm their lives. -
Napoleonic Code
This code was in comparison to The Bill of Rights. Giving them freedom at birth and being able to have equal rights, freedom of religion, and also gave people jobs in the field they were most capable in and the most qualified. This law was for all the French people and or anyone who lived in French. This was a effect of the Revolution. -
Napoleon exiled to Elba
This is when Louis XVIII was put on the throne to rule. He was banished to the Metiterranesn island of Elba. Because of his repetitive bad doings for France the people sent him to the island to get rid of him and to stop everything he was doing to hurt France.
