Lynching
This is when anyone could come up to a black person and kill them for anything they did even if it wasnt wrong. This was a very bad thing in the south. -
Jim Crow Laws

She was an African American activist during the Civil Rights movement . She is known for not giving up her seat on a bus for a white man. -

24th Amendment
This Prohibited Taking away any voting rights with a poll tax -
CRA of 1964
There cannot be any discrimination in public. It will be a very bad thing if they do that. -
VRA 1965
All Veterans can be reemployed -
Lester Madox
It started out with Lester being a restaurant owner. One day he refused to serve a black customer. He got very popular because of this and decided to run for governor. He won and then had no idea of what to do. -
Martin Luther King Jr.
King was a African American who assisted in getting other african americans their rights. He was a baptist minister, Humanitarian, an a great speaker. -
Desegregation
This is were there is no segregation and everything is equal. This was not happening during the CRM. -
26th Amendment
Prohibits the denial of the people that are 18 or older to vote -
