    The Treaty of Versailles was one of the treaties at the end of world 1. It ended the state of war between Germany and the alied Powers. It was signed exactly five years after the assassination of Franz Ferdinand. The Treaty of Versailles which had ended the state of ended failing miserably due to the unfair rules and reparation placed on germany.
  • The Munich Agreement

    The Munich Agreement was a settlement permitting Nazi Germany's annexation of portions of Czechoslovakia along the country's borders mainly inhabited by German speakers.
  • German Anschluss with Austria

    the Republic of Astria attempted union with Germany it was forbidden due the union and also due to the treaty of versailles. Austria was then annexed into the Third Reich. There had been several years of pressure by supporters in both Austria and Germany by Nazis to unify Germany again. The sent troops into Austria to enforce the Anschluss the votes were supposedly %99 in Germany favor to become unified with Austria.

  • Battle of Singapore

    The Battle of Singapore, also known as the Fall of Singapore, was fought in the South-East Asian theatre of the Second World War when the Empire of Japan invaded the Allied stronghold of Singapore. Singapore was the major British military base in South-East Asia and nicknamed the "Gibraltar of the East". The fighting in Singapore lasted from 8–15 February 1942.

    The Allied invasion of Normandy was to invade and reclaim the parts of Europe which was dictated by the Axis powers. Making sure this invasion did'nt work, Hitler ordered a defensive wall with concrete bunkers,machine guns and heavy artilley to be built all along the western side of Europe. Making an assumption Hitler presumed they would invade on a souther part of the Atlantic Wall. Hitler presumed wrong and had stationed all his best troops and and heavy artilley at the wrong spot.

  • Nazi Germany surrenders

    Nazi Germany surrendered on May 7th 1945 thus bringing World War Two in Europe to an end. On May 6th General Alfred Jodl arrived at General Dwight Eisenhower’s temporary headquarters a small schoolhouse in Reims, France to sign the surrender document. Four versions of the surrender document were required: in English, French, Russian and German.

    The US conducted the strike on Hiroshima. The bomb killed 160,000 mostly civilians. Hiroshima was a city of both industrial and military significance. A number of military units were inside it, thats why it was such a target. Another bomb was dropped on Nagasaki four days later. It was also one of the most powerful cities in Japan.

    Adolf Hitler is waiting inside the fuhrerbunker a very large concrete structure. While the Third Reich crumbles around Hitler completely distraught and hopeless he pulls out his personal pistol the very small Walther PPK 7.65 and shoots himself in the head ending the Fuhrer's reign.

    Japans two most powerful cities had been destroyed by the atomic bomb the US had dropped on them. With the loss of all the military manufacturers to fuel their war and with the Allies rapidly gaining ground on the Japs they had no choice to surrender.
