WWI Starts
originated in Europe.First modern war that killed 17 million people. Germany sent a telegram asking mexico to help take the US over. Britain, France, Russia, Italy, and the US fought against Germany, Austria-Hungary, Ottoman Empire and Bulgaria. -

Kennedy was the pretty boy and more relaxed. Nixon sweated like a pig.The debates had a major impact on the election’s outcome, and created a new era in which creating a public image and taking advantage of media exposure became essential to a successful political campaign. -
Berlin Wall
In the early years of the Cold War. The Communist East German authorities built a wall that totally encircled West Berlin. It was thrown up overnight. -
War on Drugs
A billion dollar campaign.President Richard Nixon declared war on drugs. He said America's public enemy number one in the United States is drug abuse.
