Johnny Gets Thrown in Jail
Johnny presents Merchant Lyte the silver cup and Merchant Lyte falsely accuses Johnny of being the thief who stole the cup a year ago, Johnny then proceeds to be thrown into jail for his "crimes". (Fictional) -
Rab Gets Johnny a Life
Rab visits Johnny in jail and gets him a lawyer, Josiah Quincy, and Cilla Lapham to come to the trial because they can help Johnny prove his innocence. Johnny wins the trial because of Rab's help and becomes a rider for the Boston Observer while living in the printer's shop with Rab. Johnny also becomes involved in the Whig group called the Boston Observers. (Fictional) -

Boston Tea Party
The Boston Observers plan the Boston Tea Party which is the protest against the taxes they were being forced to pay. The leaders gathered multiple men and boys to help cut open chests of tea with axes and the proceed to dump the chests into the Boston Harbor. The Observer's used code words and did the protest at night. Johnny helped by being a messenger and running back and forth to deliver the commands. He also cut open chests with his maimed hand. Milton House
Miss Bessie tells Cilla and Johnny about an attack on the Lytes that will take place at their summer home in Milton. Once the Lytes flea back to Boston after the attack Johnny goes with Cilla back to Milton to board up the house. While he is there he discovers his true family tree of the Lytes. (Fictional) -
Cilla and Isannah's New Home
Lavinia Lyte takes Isannah and CIlla Lapham to her manor where Cilla is a lower class servant and Isannah is Miss Lyte's protégé due to her natural beauty. Johnny rides to the Lyte's house every Thursday and now sits and talks with Cilla on those delivery days. (Fictional) -
Dove and the British
Johnny's horse, Goblin, is stabled at the Afric Queen's stable along with British horses and their stablemen. One of these stable boys is Dove who Johnny befriends in order to get information about the British. (Fictional) -
Pumpkin and Rab's Musket
Pumpkin, a British soldier, makes a deal with Johnny. Johnny can have his musket if Johnny gets Pumpkin a farmer's life in the country. The British, however, find Pumpkin and hang him for deserting the army. Johnny sees the hanging and gives Rab Pumpkin's musket. (Fictional) -

Rab's Leaving
Rab has decided that it is time to leave Boston and head to Lexington so he can join the rebellion's Minute Men in battle. Johnny, however, refuses to say goodbye to Rab for he is too sad and angry with Rab's choice. (Fictional) -
Paul Revere's Ride
Johnny gets information about the British troops moving to Lexington and tells Doctor Warren and Paul Revere. Johnny then tells the sexton of Christ Church to hang two lanterns because the British are moving by sea. Paul Revere then sets out on his ride. (Historically Based) -
The Shot Heard 'Round the World
The first shot of the Revolutionary War has been fired and Doctor Warren wants Johnny to continue gathering information on the British troops and get to Lexington. When Johnny goes to the Lytes' house to retrieve the disguise, Pumpkin's uniform, Lavinia Lyte tells Johnny the story of his parents and birth. Johnny kisses Cilla and leaves for Lexington to look for Doctor Warren. (Historically Based) -
Rab's End and the Rebellion's Beginning
Johnny goes to Lexington, where he finds Doctor Warren and a dying Rab. Rab bequeaths his musket to Johnny. After Rab dies, Doctor Warren offers to operate on Johnny's hand, and Johnny agrees. As he waits for Doctor Warren to prepare his instruments, he walks on Lexington Green and understands what the rebellion is about. (Fictional)
