    About 200,000 workers and families made their way to St, Petersburg, to visit the Winter Palace in hopes to petition for better working conditions, more personal freedom,and an elected national legislature. But then Soldiers were orderd to fire at the crowd where many got killed and or wounded. After this there was a growth in violence so In October 1905, Nicholas reluctantly promised more freedom, and approved Russias first Parliament.
