From this story Odysseus learned how to use his resources. He used Aeolus to help him and his men return on their journey home. Odysseus lost the trust of his men because they didn't believe that it was just a bag of wind, but a fortune of silver and gold. This wasn't good because now their journey home would be longer.

    Analysis
This shows how Odysseus was a good and bad leader at the same time. He was being a good leader when his men wer scared and tried to give them hope again. Odysseus was being a bad leader because he didn't tell his men that six of them were going to die

    Sirens
The ship sails through the Sirens - but are unaffected because Odysseus heeded Circe's warning and filled their ears with beeswax so they wouldn't be called to their death. He, however, is tied to the mast so he can hear the singing but can't react or get his men to.
    Analysis

    Trojan War (Part 2 Analysis)

    Trojan War (Part 2 Analysis)
I think it was a good idea to kill the Cicones, because the Cicones were allies with the Trojans, so they were enemies with Odysseus. But, we don't know how many Cicones were killed, and we do know that they killed 72 of Odysseus's men. and that was a lot of man the Cicones took away from Odysseys.

    The Lotus-Eaters (Part 2 Analysis)

    The Lotus-Eaters (Part 2 Analysis)
Why did some of Odysseus's men eat the Lotus flower, and others did not? It seems like the men lost their memories of home before they even ate the flowers because they have been at war so long. This is similar to drug use in today's culture, where some people use drugs to forget about their problems. I wonder how Odysseus will punish his men that ate the flower.

    Cyclops (Part 2 Analysis)

    Cyclops (Part 2 Analysis)
Like we saw before, Odysseus's men like to drink to forget about their wars. I wonder why the Cyclops eat Odysseus's men when they have plenty of goats on their island for them. Odysseus lost many men on this island, and I wonder if his troops are still backing him up because so many of them are being killed. Maybe they do this because he ends up saving most of them.
