    The Kennedy join Texas Governor John Connolly, his wife, Nellie, in an open-air limousine.

    The motorcade heads for downtown Dallas, passing through crowds estimated at over 150,000 people.

  • 12:29 PM: Dealey Plaza

    As limo enters Dealey Plaza, Nellie Connolly turned to the president and remarked, Mr.President, you can’t say Dallas doesn’t love you.”

    A bulletin hits the President in the back while he waved, then a second shot to follow. Another shot hits the governor and wounds him. A man by the name of Abraham Zapruder, ends up filming the whole thing on his home-movie camera

    Oswald walks back to his rooming house, changes his jacket there for a lightly colored one, and heads back into the street.

  • 1:12 PM: Officer Tippit Killed

    The officer pulled up to Oswalds car, after hearing a description of a suspect that matched him. After speaking to him through an open window, Tippit stepped out of this car and was shot 3 times in the chest and one in the temple. 12 people witnessed him flee the scene and 6 of theme identified him out off police lineups.

    When Oswald hears sirens he dips into a theater without paying and the Police gets a tip about a suspicious man in the area matching the description for Tippit’s murder.

  • 1:22 PM

    1:22 PM
    On the 6th floor Police find a rifle behind a stack of books in the room from which the assassin fired.

  • 1:45

    Oswald was arrested. 15 police officers surround the movie theater and at 1:51 PM they got him into custody.

  • 1:33 PM

    Kennedy was pronounced dead
