Russel passed away while on tour reaching out to his following and spreading the word. -

During this time the First World War was occurring there was a huge need for those to fight in the war. Many of the witnesses decided not to take part in the war. Which causes a lot of them to get arrested put in concentration camps on so on. -

Changed the Name
Joseph R. Rutherford took over the organization and changed the name to what it is known as today Jehovah’s Witnesses. -
Nathan Homer Knorr
Nathan Homer Knorr succeeds Rutherford and created the standard for Jehovah's witnesses to go door-to-door share their testimonies. -
Rutherford Died
Rutherford died in his mansion that he prepared to welcome the return of the prophets. That never happened the organization sold it to get rid of one of their many failed prophecies. -
New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures
Jehova witness publishes their own version of the holy bible. Make this standard for witnesses to read. This would be the only bible that would show up in their Kingdom halls. -
Rekindle there Relationship with Police
The Witness starts to compromise and follow local laws and create a better relationship with local police all over the state. -

The Watchtower and Jehovah's Witnesses. There are two different bodies in charge of the organization, and the organization turns into a nonprofit. The watch tower continues to be a publishing body that earns money. The Jehovah's Witnesses are more focused on the spiritual aspect of there group and spreading the word.
