During the Pearl Harbor attack I was terrified looking at all the smoke in the air. I remembered I held onto my mama's hand so tight. She told me this will all end soon. -

Japanese American InternmentWar Department decided to form a combat team made up of volunteers from both Hawaii and the mainland concentration camps.
There were over 1200 volunteers from Hawaii fighting for their land. I was one of them. It was hard seeing the people I grew up with suffering through what I'm going through. -

End Of World War 2
end of ww2 Japan had surrendered unconditionally to the Allies. This part was the happiest day of my life. As a troop we are done, because the Japanese had surrendered. This crazy blur is finally an end to misery! -
Tule Lake Center

Tule Lake became a Segregation Center to detain Japanese-Americans who were enemies of America because of their response to questions. We were still in the camps. All we waited for was when the time we were gonna get out of this horrible place in the world.
