A Divided Society
There were three Estates. An estate is a group of people categorized by there income and how much land they own. It was there so people knew who held the most power. All the people were involved. It was significant because it lead to more problems. -
Financial Problems
There were a lot of financial problems for the lower class/ 3rd estate. They had to pay a ton of taxes yet they made the least amount of money sometimes no money. It was significant because it made the 3rd estate want to get the taxes lowered and the only way to do that was violence -
Tennis Court
The 3rd estate got fed up with the unfair decisions made by the old government. That they finally making a new court that they call Tennis Courts they also called it "real" government. -
Napoleonic Code
When Napoleon was elected Emporer one of the thing he did was make a group of laws called the Napoleonic Code. It consisted of ideas like... All men are considered equal infant of the courts, and will have freedom of religion, and anybody could do any job they wanted. -
Invasion of Russia
One of if not the last military thing Napoleon did was march into Russia in the middle of winter which was a bad decision because Russian winters are the worst. He marched in with 600,000 troops and came back with 20,000 and didn't even fight anyone the Russians knew this would happen because of how cold and snowy the winters get there. When Napoleon returned people were furious with him because a lot of people died. And he was exiled to an island.
