    -We learn through this that Odysseus is someone who loses his control of his curiosity.
    - Most of Odysseus men lose their life.
    -The theme this represent is the role of Self control for Odysseus loses his when facing the cyclops

    -We learn through this that Odysseus will not let his sexual desires get the best of him.
    - Odysseus men are turned into pigs but then turned back because of Odysseus. -The theme this represent is the role of responsibility for Odysseus is responsible for taking care of his men even through the most dangerous events

    Cyclops

    Cyclops
    As they travel on to reach home, they come across the island with no rules and is populated by cyclops. Odysseus curiosity makes him encourage his men to explore this island. When they explore this island they are put up against a cyclops that attacks some his men forcing them to trick the cyclops and drug him with a sleep drug. Then taking a burning rod and stabbing into the eye of the cyclops, causing it to go in rage, causing the men to hide between the sheep to escape the cyclops.

    Aeolus- Bag of Wind
    In this story it begins with Odysseus and his crew traveling across the sea to reach home. One the boat the crew were checking their treasure then came across a bag. This bag was never meant to be open, but you can guess what happened next. The crew grew curious and opened the bag, this bag let out a big gust of wing blowing them even further away from home.

    -We don't learn much about Odysseus during this event.
    - The men cause their mission to reach home start over.
    -The theme this represent is the role of responsibility for Odysseus Men for they have to take responsibility for the set back they caused.

    Circe
    As they continue on Odysseus and His crew as they head home, have now be prepared for the most enchanting problem they have to face next. Odysseus and his crew come across a island as they explore they soon see Circe. Once they see Circe the crew start for her bewitching beauty and drink her magic potion turning them to pigs. Fear not Odysseus was the only one to not fall for to convince Circe to turn them back, he agreed to join her in bed. After he done this Circe lifted the spell for him.

    In this story before Odysseus left Circe's home, she warned him of the sirens and how their songs of harmony would bring doom to them. Knowing this would Odysseus plugged his man ears and tied his self to the post of the boat to stop them from being bewitched by their song.

    The story takes place on a island filled with villagers. Odysseus and his crew land on this island hoping for help. The villagers offer his crew the magical lotus flowers that are edible, for when someone eats it they become forgetful and never want to leave the island. With only of his three men affected he runs away with his crew and ties the three man forgetting their past and wanting to stay on a the post of the boat. While sailing away his three men crying whaling to want to stay.

    After the encounter with Circe, Circe tells Odysseus that six of men will have to die in order to continue on. Knowing this Odysseus has to travel on knowing this fear that some of his men will die. Once they encounter the beast he had to make the tough decision to let his man go.

    Soon after coming home he is soon to realize his home was taken over by suitors looking to get engaged with his wife. After learning this Odysseus soon tries to make ally's that will help him fight, finding two of his loyal servants he creates that plan that takes back his home, wife and kills the suitors.

    The Trojan War is an event that possibly took place in 1200 B.C. A war that was over the kidnapping of Helen the most beautiful woman in the world, she was the the wife of Menelaus the king of Sparta. This war was fought between the Trojans and Greeks, but even through all theses fights, the Greeks still didn't stand a chance against the Trojans. Then came Odysseus who is said to be described as the best master battle strategist, For he is the one to come up with a plan that doomed troy.

    Helios cattle
    In this story after the tragic lost of some of his men, they continue on to reach their goal. As they continue on the hunger of the men starts to affect them mentally. They come to stop and look for food, they soon see cattle but these cattle were owned by the sun god Helios. Even so their hunger gets the best of them and they still eat them, causing Helios to then become enraged, making Helios kill all of Odysseus men, leaving Odysseus alone to continue on.
