Mary I, Queen of England, also known as, Bloody Mary, was born on February 18, 1516. She was born in the Palace of Placentia, Greenwich, United Kingdom. She grew up being isolated from her father during his divorce with her mother. She was strongly catholic and eventually turned on everyone who was not. She burnt many of them at the steak as a result of not being catholic. That's how she got the nickname "Bloody Mary". -
