(AKA Munich massacre) Eight Palestinians took hostage of 9 Israeli athletes, coaches and officials when they broke into the Olympic Village. All of the hostages were killed. It caused more security at Olympics. -
Yom Kippur War
It occured on the holiest day for Jews, Yom Kippur. Arab attack on Israel started the war. Egyptian and Syrian military forces attacked because they knew Israel would be celebrating Yom Kippur with their guard down.
