God's promise to Abraham
God told three promises to Abraham. That he would have as many decedents as the stars, he would have land, and his family will be a blessing. Abraham inspired a lot of people to have courageous faith. -

Joseph and his brothers
Abraham's grandson Jacob had 12 sons and the 11th of the 12 was his favorite son, his name was Joseph. one day Jacob gave Joseph a coat of many colors, his brothers got jealous and sold him into slavery. This gives an example of trust in the lord. -

The Ten Plagues of Egypt
God chose Moses to go to Egypt and tell pharaoh to let the Israelites go out of slavery. Pharaoh did not listen, so God sent ten plagues and on the tenth one Pharaoh finally let the Israelites go. This shows people how powerful our God is. -

The Passover
The Tenth Plague that made pharaoh let the Israelites go was the Passover. An angel would come and kill the first born of every family, unless you killed an unblemished lamb and spread the blood on the doorpost of your house. This is one of the most popular traditions in Judaism today. -

After the Israelites had left Pharaoh changed his Mind, Meanwhile Moses saw the army coming after him and he prayed. God told him to stretch out his arms, as he did the red sea split in two. After, Moses closed the red sea, crushing Pharaoh's army. This shows how powerful God is. -

The Ten Commandments
after the Israelites had been in the desert for 1 year or so moses went up to mount sinai to pray. God gave Him ten Commandments, while Moses was up at mount sinai for three days the Israelites started to worry and started worshiping a false idol. when Moses came down and saw this, he was furious, he threw the tablets on the Ground and they shattered into pieces. This showed people that you have to obey God's commands. -

Wandering in the wilderness
The Israelites were in the wilderness for 40 years, during this time God promised the Israelites land. Also the Israelites would complain then God would Provide, Complain and God would provide, and so on, also Moses dies and Joshua becomes the new leader. This was a great example showing that God will always provide. -

Settling Canaan
Finally the Israelites were not wandering anymore. God gave them their promise land, Also they take over Canaan. This shows that God never breaks a promise. -

Gideon
Now Gideon was the leader of Israel, and they were going to go into battle. He asked God to help, and God kept telling him to keep narrowing his troops down to 300. They beat the other army with God on their side. This also shows an example of crazy trust. -

Samson
Samson was a warrior, God gave him insane strength as long as he did not cut his hair. But he got tricked into cutting his hair by a philistine, and he lost all his strength. Then, the Philistines took him and intended to kill him, But he asked God to give him his strength for one more time and God did just that, Samson destroyed the house including himself. this shows that God gives and takes away.
