Operation BarbarosaOn June 22, 1941 Adlof Hitler sent his armies eastward toward a massive invasion of the soviet union. Adlof Hitler sent over 3,000 solders and 3,000 tanks. The invasion coverd part of the North Cape, and the Black Sea. Then the war went even further it went toward Russia. The operation of Barbarossa was the crucial turning point to World War II. Pearl HarborOn December 7, 1941 hundreds of Japaneser fighter planes cane attacking the American naval base and that was at Pearl Harbor. Pearl Harbor was located near honolulu, Hawaii. The attack lasted two hours. but in those two houres the Japanese had managed to destroy more than twentie American Vessels. And out of twentie of thoes American Vessels eight of thoes were enormous battel ships. More than 2,000 American Solders were killed and 1,000 American SOlders were wounded. -

Operation Gomorrah
Operation GomorrahOn July 24,1943 saw British aircraft drop 2,300 tons of incendiary bombs on Hamburg. Then in just a few hours all the explosive's were activated and more than 1,500 german people were killed. Only 12 German aircraft were destroyed and there were still 741 planes were still flying. The attack lasted until November of that year. At the end of the war more than 17,000 bombers droped more than 9,000 explosivers and when they were activated mors than 30,000 people were kiled by thoes explosives. -

VE DayOn May 8,1945 people would like to celebrate. They celebrated from when Eourp final won Germany in a war. It was called VE Day and people would call VE Day because it stands for victory in Eourp. Eourp finaly beat Germany in the war because Germay surrendered. The people that were fighting for Eourp had lost more than 8,000 solders but the Germans had lost a lot more than 8,000 solders. -

Droping the Atomic BombOn Augast 6,1945 during World War II an American bomber plan had droped the world first ever Atomic Bomb. And the Atomic Bomb landed over the Japanese city at Hiroshima. The Atomic Bomb was so powerfull it wiped out 90% of the city and killed morre than 80,000 people. Then the thousands of people that were not killed would later be killed by radiation exposure. Then three days later a nother bomber can and droped anoter Atomic Bomb but that bomb landed on Naganski which killed 40,000 people. -
