    In ancient times, the region around present day Iran had 2 diverse asian ethnicities, who each spoke their languages and their own religions. There are 2 groups during the ancient times that were in Iran and that’s the Aryans and the Medes. The Aryans spoke Sanskrit(an old Persian language. Medes made their own language the median language. The main religion that Aryans used was hinduism. The religion the medes used was their own religion and it's an ancient iranian religion.

    The exposure that Iran has had is Muslims. Muslims introduced to them a islamic solar calendar.( a calendar that uses the solar system to tell what month it is) this calendar is used today in Iran. Back in 606 c.e muslims took control of iran. This turned them into changing Iranian language too Arabic. By 640 c.e muslims forced Iranians to believe and take part in their events. This changed Iran to believe in one god other than the belief in many gods. The dynasty lasted from 606 to 1502 c.e.

The safavid dynasty lasted from 1502 to 1736
